pilot project @ Rutgers University
Interviews for Learning (I4L) is a pilot project for students at Rutgers University to develop their interview skills and learn about the perspectives of both candidate and hiring manager. The Fall 2017 course is offered by the School of Management and Labor Relations, and will be taught by Randy Fisher of DigiWise Career Services.com
A collection of interviews provided by leaders in different industry sectors, roles and positions. This interviewing experience will facilitate students’ learning, growth and development, and help them with greater preparedness, poise and confidence in their job / career search. It will also strengthen their critical thinking and digital skills. The interviews will be available in a short web video format.

Purpose
To give students a practical experience of interviewing from two perspectives: (1) hiring manager; and (2) candidate. This learn-by-doing approach will provide a sense of what it's like to interview, and to be interviewed. The experience will also strengthen student's critical thinking and digital skills, as the interviews will be in a digital format that is shareable, and useable - (i.e., a web video (iPhone/Smartphone) or Skype / Zoom.
